|
The North Norfolk historic village of Trunch with a population of approximately 1,000 lies only two miles from the East coast, close to the coastal resort of Mundesley. Trunch offers a lot to residents and visitors. |
The picturesque village centre also features the fine medieval Church of St Botolph and typical old Norfolk flintstone houses within a designated conservation area. Trunch is surrounded by the North Norfolk protected area of outstanding natural beauty, and there are many public footpaths and quiet lanes, very inviting for (dog) walkers, bird watchers and conservationists.
Regular events, such as Trunch Open Gardens & Scarecrow Festival in the summer and the Trunch Concerts in St Botolph's Church, attract more visitors every year.
Trunch Concerts take place regularly during the warmer months in St Botolph's Church. A large variety of excellent local, nationally recognised and internationally accomplished musicians and ensembles have performed here over the past few years.
The medieval church offers an enchanting atmosphere and superb accoustics. >>>Read the account of the history of the Chancel>>> Trunch website is a work in progress.
