TRUNCH VILLAGE SOCIETY – CALL FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS – APPLY NOW

Trunch Village Society

It’s that time of year again!

Any Village Group or Organisation wishing to apply for a grant towards the cost of repairs, improvements, materials, equipment or running expenses which would be of benefit to the village should make application in writing to The Chairman, Trunch Village Society, Trunch Corner Stores, Gimingham Road, Trunch NR28 0PS  before 31st December 2018. The application should include full details of the requirement and reasons together with a timescale for funding.

There are six Project Groups within the Society namely, Litter Picking, Scarecrows and Fun Day(Open Gardens), Community Composting, Bee Keeping, Playing Field and Rectory Meadow Management. Three of the Groups are on target to raise circa £4500 this year most of which will go towards supporting some of the other Organisations, Groups and activities in the village. In order to maintain, even improve, this achievement we are in desperate need of additional volunteers. If you can spare some time, no matter how little, your help would be most welcome. Please contact Chris Owen (tele: 722072), Brian Boughton (tele: 720252) or a member of one of the Groups, contact details of whom are on the notice boards near the shop and in the village hall
